Philosophy
Emphasis is placed on initiative, individual development and self expression. Teacher instruction is led with the expectation that students will be active participants in the learning process. The teacher, therefore, serves as a nurturing guide on the child’s path to education and self-discovery. As a result, instead of being a passive participant in his/her education, the child learns to draw upon their abilities to synthesize information, think critically, problem solve, and complete tasks. This approach maintains a balance between structure and fluidity. Finally, the measures of success extend beyond quantitative terms to the overall development and growth of the child.

Countryside Montessori Academy curriculum is enhanced by the teachings that children learn by doing, and therefore structured in manner developmentally appropriate for children ages 18 months through 5 years. The focus is on the whole child -- physical, emotional, social, cognitive, creative and artistic development, are stressed equally.
At all levels, our teachers spark a child´s curiosity, encourage critical thinking and instill within children a joy for life-long learning.
Our programs are conducted in a warm, loving, nurturing environment, where teachers and caregivers invest in your child. Rooms feature bright, airy interiors designed to stimulate with toys and materials that encourage hand / eye coordination and cognitive ability. Children learn about practical life, begin their studies and play indoors and out.
All children are served a warm nutritious lunch for a nominal fee.
